Nail Care Clinics
On January 1, 2004 health insurance companies stopped paying for routine nail care. Only patients who have medical problems such as diabetes with complications or peripheral vascular disease are covered.
We recognize nail care can be a costly expense for patients. We have created a cost-effective nail care clinic for patients who need routine nail care, but are unable to care for their own nails due to conditions such as blindness, arthritis, previous knee or hip surgery, or thickening of the nails.
The services are provided by NWPC licensed Nurses and can be scheduled through our scheduling department at 503.659.4988 for a fee of $25.00 unless the nurse determines that more technical or specialized care is needed by a practitioner.
Scheduled Nail-Care Clinic days and hours:
Clackamas Internal Medicine: 2nd Monday of every month 8 am- 3 pm
In addition to Northwest Primary Care, nail care can also be obtained by these community groups who participate in this
service:
• Milwaukie Senior Center: 503.653.8100

• Cherry Blossom Seniors: 503.988.6073
