Director of Communications and Marketing
Northwest Primary Care group is seeking a professional, knowledgeable, Director of Communications and Marketing individual for a full-time regular position. The essential responsibilities for the Director of Communications and Marketing may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Annual NWPC Brand Marketing Plan
Develop Advertising Plan and Financial Budget
Develop Patient Communication Plan and Financial Budget
Maintain and develop vendor support relationships (Internet, Printing, Billboard, Trimet)
Creative Writing & Graphic Design
Create written NWPC brochures, patient education materials and workbooks as directed using Adobe Creative Suites
Work with NWPC Medical Director to ensure all materials comply with Practitioner needs and ensure Medical Director review final copy prior to printing
Update internal CCTV patient education screens as needed
Create and maintain monthly email Patient Newsletter utilizing Constant Contact
Coordinate with Madfish to create and approve monthly NWPC blog articles
Update NWPC, NW Therapy, NW Sleep Health and NW Research web pages as needed
Work with Madfish monthly to evaluate NWPC SEO goals
Update Highway Billboard(s) monthly
Create and maintain NWPC corporate forms
Create annual NWPC Calendar
Community & Patient Communications
Professionally handle patient complaints forwarded from Managers
Maintain Internal Patient Complaint database ensuring all complaints are resolved in a timely manner
Professionally communicate with Patient Complaints posted in the Intranet (ie Google, Yelp, WedMD, etc)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Affairs, Journalism, or other appropriate liberal arts degree.
Experience: 5+ years experience in communications/ marketing and public relations.
Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize and control resources to achieve specific goals. This includes the ability to motivate fellow team members to find the very best solution possible while honoring constraints such as scope, schedule, quality and budget.
Communication Skills: College-level written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to communicate effectively up, down, and across the entire organization clearly and succinctly in a variety of styles to get messages across that have the desired effect. Adaptable, polished social skills for effective interaction with a wide variety of individuals and organizations, including media. The ability to develop and deliver formal presentations in a variety of settings. (i.e. one-on-one, small or large groups). Proficiency in marketing, digital media, and community engagement.
Computer Skills: Advanced / Expert level skills with Windows based software, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Intermediate understanding of social media, primarily Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
