Live the good life…
Portland combines a sophisticated, cosmopolitan atmosphere with friendly, small-town warmth. We maintain strong local neighborhoods and a close connection to nature. The fresh air, lush green outdoors and close proximity to the Pacific Ocean consistently ranks Portland high in national “livability” ratings. Portland has also been named the most bicycle- and dog-friendly big city. So no matter what you choose for recreational opportunities, skiing, world-class fly fishing or gorgeous hiking trails, they are all within an hour’s drive. And if your taste is more along the lines of culture and cuisine, the indie music and art scenes, farm to fork food, craft beers, fine wines, and top notch craft distillers will quickly help you understand why Portland is so popular.
