Approach to Patient Care
Born in Mexico and living abroad for most of my childhood, I enjoy meeting and learning from a variety of people and cultures. I believe this is what drove me to a career where I would have the opportunity to interact with, work with, and care for many different kinds of people. Another aspect of family medicine that I enjoy is having the privilege to continue to care for people as they enter different stages of life, and to care for their family members as well. I strive to not only treat illness as it arises, but help work toward health and illness prevention.
Personal Interests
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family—my spouse Trevor, 3 busy children, and our dog Artemis. I love soccer, and am a big Portland Thorns and Timbers fan. I also practice yoga and really enjoy going for walks and hikes in this beautiful part of the world.
