Benjamina Brown M.D.
I am very excited to be returning to work at NWPC and to be back in the Pacific Northwest! For the past two years, my family has enjoyed life down in sunny Southern California. However, we missed our family, friends, and community here in Portland, and decided to return home.
Born in Mexico, and living abroad for most of my childhood, I enjoy meeting and learning from a variety people and cultures. I believe this is what drove me to a career where I would have the opportunity to interact with, work with, and care for many different kinds of people. Another hallmark of Family Medicine that I enjoy is having the privilege to continue to care for people as they enter different stages of life, to care for their family members as well, and to not only treat illness as it arises but help work toward health and illness prevention.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family—my spouse Trevor, 3 busy children, and our dog Artemis. I love soccer, and am a big Portland Thorns and Timbers fan. I also practice yoga and really enjoy going for walks and hikes in this beautiful part of the world.
