Philosophy of Care
My passion is making sure as many people as I can touch, understand the importance of their health. Diabetes and eating disorders are on the rise. As an IAEDP Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, I see many patients both young and older who are dealing with eating disorders. In addition, my patients who are newly diagnosed with diabetes learn a whole new way of eating. Many of them change their struggle to learn and new lifestyle and having the support can help them along the way. I hold a Certification as an International Childbirth Education Trainer and Doula. As an Adjunct Professor at Lewis and Clark College, my students often request to do further training with me in clinic. I like to know that people have access to health and wellness that is affordable and easy to achieve. Eating disorders; child and adolescent obesity.
Personal Interests
My family is very important to me. Long walks, cross country skiing, ice skating and good food with good friends. All music (especially when my son plays) and reading good books recommended by family, friends and patients.
