Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician | Milwaukie Clinic

Approach to Patient Care

I take a holistic approach to care taking into account a patient's background and current life situations and help them make the best decisions for their health. I look to individualize care while trying to following evidence based practices as much as possible. I tend to think out loud and have a conversation around the next step in my plan with a patient.

I did not decide to pursue medicine until after finishing college, so I took a year off and worked at the National Institutes of Aging where I decided I wanted to pursue a clinical career in medicine. I attended medical school in Philadelphia then moved out to Portland for my residency. I joined Northwest Primary care shortly after completely residency and have been here ever since.

Personal Interests

I love what I do and feel priveleged to get to be a part of other people's lives each day. When I am not at work, I am a busy wife and mom of 2 children. I love spending time outdoors, taking long walks with my family, and hanging out with friends.
