Approach to Patient Care
I have always been fascinated by people and our similarities and differences. I studied cultural and physical anthropology as an undergraduate. I was fascinated by how people and societies make sense of the world and why they make the choices they make. I apply anthropological principles to my medical practice. There is no right or wrong way to live your life, but there are risks and benefits to the choices we make. I enjoy sharing my medical knowledge and recommendations with my patients and learning what their motivations and needs are.
Personal Interests
In my spare time you can find me hiking, reading, knitting and spending time with family. I have a chihuahua named Denver and a cat named Molly.
