Approach to Patient Care
As a family physician, my goal is to develop relationships with my patients built on trust, empathy, and open communication. I actively listen to my patients and provide education so that they feel empowered to make informed decisions about their care. I am committed to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
I am originally from British Columbia, Canada and completed my medical training in the Caribbean, Florida, New York, and Chicago. I completed my residency in Flint, Michigan. The opportunity to train in multiple countries and states broadened my perspective on medicine, cultures, and ways of living; all of which I adapt into my everyday practice. I moved to Oregon because I love the pacific northwest, and it felt like home. When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, friends, and family. I enjoy most outdoor activities, especially kayaking, camping, and visiting the coast. I also love to travel abroad.
