Approach to Patient Care
My career in healthcare began in 2001, when I worked as an office assistant at an OB-GYN clinic in rural Oregon. It was there that I discovered my passion for women’s health and community education, and so I decided to pursue a nursing career. I became a Labor and Delivery nurse because it gave me the opportunity to work with and educate families, and dive into my passion for women’s health. I loved working with families as they changed and grew! I also realized that I enjoy contributing to the health of my community as well. This all flowed naturally into my current role as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where I now provide care and education to patients from infancy to elderly. My practice is focused on collaborative care, where I work with my patients to improve health outcomes.
Personal Interests
I grew up in the Willamette Valley and knew I wanted to continue my career in this beautiful area. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my husband and boys. We love spending our free time outdoors, and especially enjoy spending time with the animals on our farm.
