Important Medicare Information for 2026

 NWPC is currently not able to accept new Original Medicare or CareOregon Advantage patients. Please note that this applies only to new patients at NWPC. If you are a current NWPC patient who is seen with an Original Medicare or CareOregon Advantage plan, NWPC will continue to accept your insurance plan and there will be no change or interruption to your care. We apologize for any confusion.

NWPC will accept the following Medicare Advantage plans for the 2026 plan year:

United Healthcare

• AARP Medicare Advantage from UHC OR-0003 (HMO-POS)
• AARP Medicare Advantage Essentials from UHC OR-4 (HMO-POS)
• AARP Medicare Advantage Extras from UHC OR-6 (HMO-POS)
• UHC Complete Care OR-5 (HMO-POS C-SNP)

Providence

• Providence Medicare Prime + Rx (HMO)
• Providence Medicare Extra + Rx (HMO)
• Providence Medicare Reverence (HMO-POS)
• Providence Medicare Focus Medical (HMO)
• Providence Medicare Dual Plus (HMO D-SNP)
• PHIP PERS State of Oregon retirees (EGWP) MA groups plans Align and Flex

What this means for current Medicare Advantage patients at NWPC in 2026
If your current plan is listed above: No action is required on your part. Your care will continue uninterrupted.

If your current plan is not listed above: The Medicare Annual Election Period begins on October 15 and goes through December 7. During this time, you can evaluate your current coverage and make changes to your plan. If you wish to continue your care at NWPC, you will need to switch to one of the above plans in our network.
