Important Medicare Information for 2027

NWPC will accept the following Medicare plans for the 2027 plan year:

• Traditional Medicare

• The following United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plans:
  • UHC Complete Care OR-5 (HMO-POS C-SNP)
  • AARP Medicare Advantage Extras from UHC OR-6 (HMO-POS)
  • AARP Medicare Advantage Essentials from UHC OR-7 (HMO-POS)
  • Please note: If you are currently enrolled in the AARP Medicare Advantage Essentials from UHC OR-4 (HMO-POS) plan, you will be moved to the AARP Medicare Advantage Essentials from UHC OR-7 (HMO-POS) plan automatically. There is no action required on your part.

• The following Devoted Health Medicare Advantage HMO plans:

  • Devoted Core 001 OR (HMO)
  • Devoted Core 026 OR (HMO)
  • Devoted Giveback Extras 022 OR (HMO)

What this means for current Medicare patients at NWPC in 2027
If your current plan is listed above: No action is required on your part. Your care will continue uninterrupted.

If your current plan is not listed above: The Medicare Annual Election Period begins on October 15 and goes through December 7. During this time, you can evaluate your current coverage and make changes to your plan. If you wish to continue your care at NWPC, you will need to switch to one of the above plans in our network.
