Important Update for My Health Record Users

Effective December 19, 2023:

Your patient portal through My Health Record is being upgraded to a new platform with improved security. Beginning December 19, you will be prompted to update your portal account before logging in to My Health Record. When you access My Health Record, you will enter your current username and password before being prompted to complete the registration process for the new platform. A PIN will be sent to your email address. After verifying the PIN and completing the process, you will be redirected to the My Health Record login page to sign in to the new platform. You will only need to complete this process one time.

For children and families: each person using the portal, whether individually or as part of a family account, must have their own distinct email address. If you currently have a family account, only the primary account holder will need to undergo the security migration process. 

Please note:

  • Each person using the portal, whether individually or as part of a family account, needs to have their own distinct email address. In the case of family accounts, only the primary account holder needs to undergo a security migration process.
  • If two individuals share an email address and have separate portal usernames, only one of them can use that shared email for portal access. The other person must create a new email address and register for the portal independently.
  • You will only need to complete the registration process once.
